That's how I conceived the CoJo Gun Magnet — building a better V-notch by incorporating magnets. Solution achieved! Now the long gun is able to stand straight at a 90° angle, with the barrel embedded in the magnetized V-notch. Then came the problem of breaking the habit of leaning the gun — that's where the Assperatus came in, to keep the butt in line. Now, without even thinking, the experienced or inexperienced hunter places the gun's stock in the Assperatus and the barrel adheres to the magnet at a 90° angle.
