Deer Stand Gun Holder (Not a Shooting Rest)
Search "deer stand gun holder" and Google will mix two different jobs. One job is a holder: keep the gun handy, upright, and not falling while you wait. We sell a deer stand gun holder. The gun sits parked — stock seated, barrel controlled — so you can grab it. We will not pretend it is a rest. If you need something to shoot off of, that is a different category. This page says so in the first screen on purpose, so nobody ranks us into the wrong shopping trip.
In a tree stand, ladder stand, box stand, or shooting house, the CoJo answer is the same system as the duck blind: Assperatus (stock/butt holder, not a magnet) where you screw, zip-tie, or belt it on, plus a magnet when there is steel. Together they are the Blind Pack. Deer stand is a use case, not a product type. The Pack is a Pack, not a kit.

What we sell
A holder. The long gun stands so it is not in your lap, not against a thin rail on a lean, and not on the floor of a box. You wait. You grab. That is the whole product promise on this page.
The Assperatus cradles the butt. Non-magnetic. Screw, zip-tie, or belt — wood, rail, tree, places a tubing-only clamp will not go. A magnet holds the barrel when there is steel (a metal box-blind frame, a ferrous plate). No steel, no magnet hold. Do not expect a magnet to stick to a wood tree stand.
Tree, ladder, box, shooting house
- Tree stand — belt or zip-tie the Assperatus where you can reach the stock without standing up into the skyline. Magnet only if you added steel.
- Ladder stand — screw or zip-tie to a rail or wood. Same rule: magnet needs ferrous metal.
- Box stand / shooting house — mixed surfaces. Wood walls take the Assperatus; a metal frame takes a magnet. That mixed setup is why the hunting buy is the Pack.
For hunting, we still recommend magnet + Assperatus together when both surfaces exist. A leaned gun can lose barrel contact on a magnet alone. The Assperatus forces 90° so the barrel sits fully on the magnet. Kids, dogs, and a second hunter on the ladder make that worth doing.
